Digitally celebrating contemporary photography talent

Foam Talent Digital Exhibition by

View caseAgency

Foam Talent is a striking online exhibition, celebrating the work of young artists shaping the future of photography. Created by Dutch digital branding agency Build in Amsterdam, in close collaboration with Foam. Foam is an international organisation, based in Amsterdam, informing and inspiring a wide audience about all facets of contemporary photography. The project is an addition to the annual 'Talent' issue of Foam Magazine.

The agency carefully designed and built tailored transitions and custom layouts for each project, making each page unique - including video artwork, soundscapes or music, audio voice-overs and video interviews. Build in Amsterdam worked closely with the Foam team and artists to ensure the results were in line with the artists' work and expectations.

Their guiding principle was to bring emotion to the browsing experience. Embracing randomness in order to encourage discovery. Each time you open the website, work from a different artist will feature on the digital cover page. This allows you to navigate from a different starting point every time you visit the exhibition.

Love this! The platform has the intimate feel of an actual physical exhibition. Smooth navigation and interactions. Subtlety allows the images to be the centrepiece of the site.
