Dutch digital agency Studio Kraftwerk, together with digital creative studio Superhero Cheesecake - both based in Amsterdam, developed an interactive installation for Dutch DIY store-chain Karwei. For customers to explore Karwei's range of products in a 3D representation of their living space.
People come to a Karwei store to experience real colours and materials. But it is hard to imagine how all of this will look in your own house. Karwei Style Studio introduces physical products to a digital model of the customer's own home. A touchscreen interface allows them to scan items from the store and style their room in 3D.
The innovative use of touchscreen enriches the customer shopping experience, and make better use of Karwei's in-store touch screens - making it fun and engaging at the same time.
A pleasure to play around with. Makes you curious to try it. Love how it's allowing people to scan and use real products they find in the store.
